Thank you for your prayers and well wishes I returned safe and sound from Ghana nearly a month ago. Now that I am back I have been wondering how I can make a greater contribution in the community and especially the lives of Kimochi clients. It got me to thinking that what we all need these days are more opportunities in our lives to clear our minds, relax and recharge. The entire community benefits when one of us decides to be an example of healthy lifestyle choices..

So many of us are overworked and weighed down with busy schedules. I find it necessary to purchase myself a series of massages several times a year with one of the therapist at Kimochi. Even when it appears I can not afford it I usually purchase them anyway because I refuse to ignore my body and its needs. By taking care of myself first, I know everything else will fall into place when I am okay and it always does. After a series of massages, I notice a huge difference in my appearance, creative ideas and energy level.

My health care plan focuses more on what I can do for myself. By receiving, 2 to 3 massages a week over a period of a month and a half I am preventing the need for over the counter drugs and costly hospital visits. I used to think I could not fit time in for a series of massages, but usually by the third massage, I find myself dropping whatever I am doing to go run for my time on the table. Kimochi International Retreat to Ghana

Well lots of things have happened since I last wrote you. I completed my plans in Ghana to organize the First Annual Kimochi International Retreat and Cultural Tour. This 18 days retreat focuses on your wellness, relaxation, cultural exchange and group interaction. It is a 2 part retreat. since everyone can not stay for 18 days.

Part 1 is 9 days and includes time in 3 cities. You will also have personal time on the beach, cultural tours massage, reflexology and other wellness therapies.

Part 2 is 9 days and is all about your personal health. 5 Days of Ayurveda Therapy and Colon Cleansing at HealthWorks Wellness Center. Motivational Talks from Dr. Sasu owner of HealthWorks. Each client receives a Personalized Therapy and Vegetarian Meals for your specific needs. Daily Yoga and Meditation classes are included as well as tips on how to stay healthy

Second Saturday of Every Month come to learn all natural therapies and Kimochi tips that really work. This is a 4 Part Workshop Series that covers a variety of wellness topics and practices that you can take home and use for yourself and family. Brink of Something Big

I am on the Brink of Something Big. I am so thrilled because I know it is near and my voice will be heard simply because I won't shut up nor give up. I invite challenges and pain because a lesson is always gained. I thrive to reach higher plains of enlightenment. So come on trouble I will fight you back, blow for blow, I won't leave the ring until victory is mine. Because I am on the Brink of Something Big. Not so much for today, but for tomorrow. Soon I will bear children and my commitment is to them the future. They must start growing up in the know, instead of the unknown. Ignorance is what the mainstream wants to explore but heck no not anymore I am on the Brink of Something Big. A better future for me and my family is what I dream of and work for....
